The clip shows four French tourists trekking towards the Hopu Ruahine bridge in Hawkes Bay.
One of the tourists managed to capture the exact moment the bridge on Lake Waikaremoana Great Walk collapsed as they were crossing it.
The tourists fell 8 metres into the river. Luckily, no major injuries were reported.
