Sir Anthony Hopkins Hears The Waltz He Wrote 50 Years Ago

Before taking up acting as a career, the Academy Award-winner was a musician. But it was only in 2011 that he heard his composition being played.
Fifty years ago he wrote a waltz but was too afraid to ever hear it play. In a 2012 interview with The Guardian, Hopkins stated, “I’ve been composing music all my life and if I’d been clever enough at school I would like to have gone to music college. As it was I had to settle for being an actor.”
