PM Appeals For Calm As 'Modi' Chants Drown Nitish Kumar Speech

During Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s address at Bihar’s Hajipur today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in an unexpected gesture, stood up from his seat and signalled the crowd to quiet down and refrain from chanting ‘Modi Modi’. The incident happened when Nitish was delivering his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the Digha-Sonepur rail-cum-road bridge at Bihar’s Hajipur.
