Milan Lucic Obscene Gesture Towards Canadiens Fans Costs Him $5,000

While heading to the Bruins penalty box, Lucic made what the league considered an obscene gesture toward the crowd when he motioned with his right hand and then raised his arms as if he was lifting the Stanley Cup. Lucic was later ejected from the game for shouting at the referee after the Canadiens scored on the empty net. The NHL fined Lucic $5,000 for the gesture.
