Not many know that the short film, called Qandeel Baloch: A Very Short Story, was also screened at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival.
The film, that has footage from videos that Qandeel had uploaded on her social media accounts, also has a clip of her parent's interview. Narrated by American singer and actress Madonna, this short-film is a beautiful ode to her. Madonna took to Facebook to laud Obaid's efforts. She posted:
