Indian Cricket Star Virender Sehwag Announces His Retirement On His Birthday

Virender Sehwag, who scored a century on his Test debut against South Africa in 2001, thanked former skipper Sourav Ganguly for giving him the confidence to become a Test batsman who went on to score 8586 runs in 104 matches.
Sehwag, who scored 8273 runs in 251 ODIs, was often compared to Sachin Tendulkar and let his bat do all the talking in an international career that spanned over a dozen years.
