Humanity Prevails! 84-year-old Donates Rs. 1 Crore To NDA

Janardan Bhatt, an 84-year-old retired State Bank of India (SBI) employee, donated his entire life savings of Rs 1 crore to National Defence Academy. Bhatt was prompted to do his bit for the Indian Army after he saw reports of slain jawans and the challenging conditions that soldiers fight in to combat terrorism. 

 

The amount was made possible from his savings and his investments in various funds, which all gave him robust returns when he retired.
