Boyfriend Finally Pops The Question After Taking 148 Secret Proposal Selfies Of His Girlfriend

Ray Smith, 38, from Grimsby, UK, wanted to propose in a novel way to his girlfriend Claire Bramley, 33. According to a report, he wanted to do it during a hot-air balloon ride, but when Claire found out she was pregnant, that idea was tossed out. Ray started googling various ways to propose, and finally came up with his own unique way. 

 

Ray would strategically place “Will you marry me” cards while taking selfies or photos with friends and family, without Claire finding out. To pull off the proposal, Ray told his girlfriend that he wanted to keep a record of the pregnancy. “I told her I was taking the pictures to track the progress of the baby, which was a little bit of a ruse,” he added. “Sometimes she wanted to see the pictures so I had to take more than one – one with the card and one without.”

 

Ray finally popped the question on Christmas Day last year, and Claire’s answer was… of course, yes!
