Spectators at a rally car race were saved from being seriously hurt when a car crashed and flipped into fans.
The incident occurred during the Jolly Rally Valle d’Aosta when a Renault Clio, driven by Pietro Scavone and co-pilot Diego D’Herin, lost control after taking a corner at high speed.
The car crashed before flipping into spectators who were watching the race at the side of the road – with supporters, fortunately, being left unhurt.
