Ants Suddenly March In A Circle When An iPhone Rings

The bizarre clip by Claudiu Voicu appears to show the creatures circling frantically as the phone rings but not everyone is convinced

According to the caption alongside the clip, it's the electromagnetic wave from the incoming call that causes the insects to run around the device in a perfect circle.

But not everyone on YouTube was convinced by that explanation.

One viewer wrote: "My guess would be the vibration freaked the ones closest out so they dropped down some trail pheromone and started running for their lives... in a circle."

Another added: "Nope, it's a CGI fake. You can see the ants passing through each other, and if you watch very closely on the top right-hand corner, you can see the 'ants' literally vanishing out of existence."
