This is the place where sewadars from Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha and sangat from the Punjab sent by Sant Baba Labh Singh Ji (Kar Sewa Anandgarh Killa) are doing langar sewa together. These special celebrations mark the 350th Prakash Purab of Dhan Guru Gobind Singh Ji, tenth Guru of the Sikhs who was born in Bihar in 350 years ago. 

 

Over one thousand sewadars have been serving here - daily throughout the celebrations they have been serving countless thousands of meals to pilgrims that have travelled here from all of the world. 

 

The paramount purpose of celebrating Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s 350th Prakash Purab is to pay loving tribute to the Saint-Soldier Guru, who not only created the Khalsa fraternity, but also blessed Sikhs with the highest exalted spiritual authority – Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
