An 18-year-old has died after he was attacked with knives, rods and sticks by group of men in a market in Chandigarh on Wednesday.
The assault happened in daylight and was caught on camera. Seven people have been arrested and the eighth accused, who is reportedly a minor, is absconding.
The teenager, identified as Vikas, was travelling on a two-wheeler in Sector 25 with two of his friends when he was stopped and attacked by at least eight men.
