11-Year-Old Plays Trumpet For World War Ii Veteran After Parade Gets Cancelled

An 11-year-old schooled his countrymen on how to treat their military veterans and martyrs.

 

While most of us feel awkward facing crowds and some even experience stage fear, Nicholas Degregorio — who is 11-years-old — was excited to be a part of the marching band on Memorial Day.

 

Memorial Day is an American observance in honour of its military men martyred in active service. Nicholas was crushed when the parade got cancelled due to unfavourable weather. Mary Degregorio, Nicholas’ mother, said he, “felt so bad for all of the veterans that would not have a parade in honor of all their fallen comrades.”
