Only in Surrey BC! Time to change your Barber? Beer at the barbershop? Yes you heard it right. Your barbershop will soon have the option of serving a drink of your choice if the motion passed in council becomes law .

An idea that seems to stay afloat in Surrey, Canada for one business owner. Barbershops are now open after the Province has brought in phase 2 of re-opening the economy amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Surrey City Council has approved a barbershop's request to serve liquor. The city has granted Trendzone Barber Shop, located on 152 Street near Croydon Drive, a liquor license — allowing staff to serve up to 25 customers at a time. Find out more as to whether this will be the new norm.
