The Archies is an upcoming teen-musical film based on the American comic book series by the same name. Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the film will mark the Bollywood debut of Shahrukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, and late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor. Agastya Nanda will be seen as Archie Andrews, Khushi Kapoor as Betty Cooper, and Suhana Khan as Veronica Lodge.

The film, which is scheduled to be released on December 7 this year on Netflix, also features Vedang Raina as Reggie Mantle, Mihir Ahuja as Jughead Jones, Dot as Ethel Muggs and Yuvraj Menda as Dilton Doiley.

Set in 1960s, the trailer offers a glimpse into the world of the fictional hill town, Riverdale where Archie and the gang navigate romance, friendship and the future of the place they live in.
