Mary Kom is today an household name today, all thanks to film maker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The producer green lighted debutant director, Omang Kumar's biopic on the boxer and the film is all set to release next week.

 

Priyanka Chopra steps into the shoes of the Champion for this film. And talking about her story is Mary Kom herself, revealing her joy at seeing the film, crying when she was told her son had a hole in his heart, losing her first international match, the strenuous and rigorous workout, and the pride of carrying the Indian flag to the winner`s podium.
