Vancouver's Cherry Blossom Festival

Vancouver's Cherry Blossom Festival kicks off today showcasing colours of Spring in downtown at various locations.

Outside Burrard skytrain station, a canopy of cherry blossoms decorate the street and today marks the first day our of the 26-day Sakura Days Japan Fair set for Saturday and Sunday at VanDusen Botanical Gardens.

These events are perfect to make a trip downtown on a weekend as a family outing and viewing these spectacular trees that are in bloom, which also showcases Japanese culture, food, crafts and art.
