Salim Khan flags off Celebratory Walk

Happy Hours Workshop & Cerebral Palsy Association of India, celebrated the ‘United Nations International Day of Persons with Disability’ with a ‘Celebratory Walk’ to pledge their support to differently-abled people in the city.

 

The walk aimed at creating awareness and educating people about individuals afflicted with cerebral palsy, mental handicap and similar neurological disabilities. 150 people turned up to support the cause.

 

The event kick-started with a special performance organized and presented by the Indian Navy. A Search and Rescue Demonstration by the Coast Guard Helicopter off Band Stand left the audience spellbound. This was followed by a public rally that commenced from Galaxy Apartment, Bandra and concluded at the grounds of St. Stanislaus School, Bandra.
