WATCH: Anti Racism champion, teacher, & author Harman Pandher wins award from BC Government

WATCH: Harman Pandher is the recipient of the intercultural trust award by the BC government. He speaks to DARPAN Magazine about how his childhood experiences lead him to author a popular children's book highlighting South Asian culture and heritage, which is now being used as an educational tool in BC schools.

The Dhahan Prize promotes Punjabi literature on a global scale by awarding $25,000 annually to the best book of fiction published in either Gurmukhi or Shahmukhi scripts, along with two additional finalist prizes of $10,000 CDN.
