WATCH: The Vancouver International South Asian Film Festival wrapped up and screened the best in South Asian cinema. It showcased short stories, feature films, and documentaries. Mannu Sandhu- Festival Producer joined Darpan's social media host Ish Sharma and shared highlights of the festival.

History was made on February 1 of 2014 when the World Health Organization (WHO) named their first woman to assume the office of WHO Regional Director for South-East Asia. Dr Poonam Khetrapal Singh, an Indian national, is just that woman, and she is more than up for the role’s many challenges.
