CBS News Hires Josh Elliott For Online News Service

The Canadian Press, 01 Mar, 2016 11:38 AM
NEW YORK — CBS News has hired former "Good Morning America" personality Josh Elliott to be an anchor on the network's CBSN online news service, and an occasional contributor to CBS News television broadcasts.

Elliott left ABC for NBC Sports a few years ago when contract talks to stay broke down, and the move sharply cut down on his visibility.

CBS launched the digital news service in November 2014. The network hasn't released a count on how many people are watching, but said Tuesday it doubled its viewership in the last three months of 2015 compared to the three months prior.

Elliott worked at ESPN as a "Sportscenter" anchor before joining "Good Morning America."
