Stampeders, Ticats Hold Final Walkthroughs Leading Up To Grey Cup Showdown

Darpan News Desk Darpan, 29 Nov, 2014 12:01 PM
  • Stampeders, Ticats Hold Final Walkthroughs Leading Up To Grey Cup Showdown
VANCOUVER — All that's left now is to play the game.

The Calgary Stampeders and Hamilton Tiger-Cats went through their final walkthroughs at B.C. Place Stadium on Saturday.

The two teams will square off Sunday in the Grey Cup game.

Hamilton is making a second straight appearance in the contest, losing last year in Regina to the Saskatchewan Roughriders, and hasn't won a CFL title since '99.

That year, Hamilton beat Calgary at B.C. Place.

Calgary last won the Grey Cup in 2008, John Hufnagel's first season as head coach/GM, but lost to Toronto in the 100th Grey Cup game at Rogers Centre in 2012.

The Stampeders posted a league-best 15-3 record and were 2-0 this season versus Hamilton.

The Ticats finished atop the East Division with a 9-9 record.
