The Winnipeg native lost to India's Nitu Ghanghas after the referee put a stop to the contest in the 3rd round.

Dhillon had to overcome many hurdles to get to this level. Dhillon raised money through Go Fund Me and trained with Boxing Canada.

She achieved a huge milestone in May by becoming the 1st female boxer from Manitoba to be a participant at a world championship event.
