Amity students carrying flags of Rajasthan Royals, fully gripped with IPL fever, Friday cheered aloud when former India captain and Rajasthan Royals mentor Rahul Dravid entered the university campus here accompanied by his team members including Watson, a spokesperson said.

Dravid expressed his happiness to see the level of overwhelming support of Amity students and re-called his own college days.

"Amity University and Rajasthan Royals both identify and promote young talent and it is very encouraging to launch Amity Special Sports Scholarships today," said Dravid.

Watson thanked Amity University for its support and long association with Rajasthan Royals. He recalled several occasions when he interacted with Amity University and was impressed by their energy and talent.
