VANCOUVER, BC – Vancouver Whitecaps FC confirmed the club’s preseason roster on Friday, as the team had their first few on-field training session at the Marbella Football Center in Spain.

Jeevan Badwal at 17 years old is the youngest player in the roster who plays Centre Midfield position. 

The preseason roster currently features 35 players including 21 MLS first team players, eight Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) players, one Whitecaps FC BMO Academy player, three unsigned MLS SuperDraft picks, one trialist, and one training camp invitee. Preseason matches during the three-week camp in Spain will be announced in the coming days.

Whitecaps FC kick off their 2024 campaign in less than a month, hosting Mexican powerhouse Tigres UANL on Wednesday, February 7 in the Round One first leg of the Concacaf Champions Cup at Starlight Stadium in Langford, BC. Tickets are now on sale at ticketmaster.ca/whitecaps.

The ‘Caps will then kick off their MLS season on Saturday, March 2 when they host Charlotte FC at BC Place for the first time. For more information on tickets, visit whitecapsfc.com/tickets.
