  • CONCACAF Champions Cup Game now taking place on February 7th at Starlight Stadium

The Vancouver Whitecaps are shifting their CONCACAF Champions Cup Game on February 7th to Starlight Stadium in Langford, B-C, because of a scheduling conflict at B-C Place.

Whitecaps chief executive officer Axel Schuster says the team explored all possibilities upon learning of the conflict and that Starlight Stadium was the only CONCACAF-approved stadium.

Starlight Stadium, which has a capacity of about six-thousand, is home to the Canadian Premier League's Pacific F-C.

The Whitecaps will be playing Mexican club Tigres U-A-N-L in the first round of the 27-team competition.
