Canada Uses Strong Fourth Quarter To Beat Iroquois Nationals At U19 Worlds

    COQUITLAM, B.C. — Jeff Teat led the way with four goals and two assists as Canada beat the Iroquois Nationals 12-9 on Sunday at the under-19 lacrosse world championships. 
     
    Tanner Cook, Treton Leclaire, Ethan Walker, Marshall King, Riley Curtis, Ryan Lanchbury, Dalton Follows and Thomas Semple also scored for the Canadians (2-1), who were tied 8-8 heading into the fourth quarter.
     
    Tehoka Nanticoke scored five times for the Iroquois Nationals (1-1) while Austin Staats added three goals and four helpers. Matthew Bennett had the other.
     
    Kyle Hebert stopped 9-of-15 shots for the win. Tyler Armstrong kicked out 11-of-23 shots in defeat. 
     
    Canada's next round-robin game is on Monday against Australia (1-1).
