B.C. Lions Place Quarterback Travis Lulay On Six-game Injured List

The Canadian Press, 12 Sep, 2015 01:44 PM
VANCOUVER — The B.C. Lions placed quarterback Travis Lulay on the six-game injured list Friday.

He suffered a sprained knee ligament in last week's 25-16 win over Montreal.

Former NFL journeyman John Beck has been tabbed to make his first CFL start Sunday against the visiting Ottawa Redblacks.

Beck completed 14 of 22 passes for 114 yards and two touchdowns against the Alouettes after Lulay left the game midway through the first quarter. Beck also threw a pair of interceptions.

Lulay also missed most of the 2014 campaign with a shoulder injury.

Also Friday, the Lions added quarterback Greg McGhee to the 46-man roster and added quarterback R.J. Archer to the practice roster.
