Vancouver International Airport is recommending travellers plan ahead and check their flight status as Environment Canada forecasts snow starting this morning.
The airport authority says it anticipates fewer planes will arrive and depart from the airport due to the weather.

But, it said its runways, taxiways and de-icing services were fully operational as of last night.
Y-V-R says that if a flight has been delayed or cancelled, it recommends travellers rebook online or over the phone rather than at the airport.
