Young Man Stabbed Inside East Vancouver Grocery Store

    Vancouver Police are investigating a targeted stabbing that has sent one man to hospital.
     
    Just before 4 p.m. a man was stabbed inside of the No Frills store located at 1460 East Hastings Street. The suspect fled the store and the 19-year-old victim was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
     
    This was a targeted attack and there is no risk to the public. No arrests have been made yet and the investigation is ongoing.
     
    Anyone who may have witnessed the assault and has not yet spoken with officers,  is asked to call police.
     
    There is no additional information to share at this time.
