Worker Dead After Incident At Nanaimo, B.C., Pulp Mill

    NANAIMO, B.C. — A man is dead after an incident at a Nanaimo, B.C., pulp mill.
     
    RCMP Sgt. Cam Muir says officers were called to the industrial site for reports of an accident early Friday morning.
     
    They found a man in his mid-30s who pronounced dead at the scene.
     
    Muir says the man fell while working around a pile of wood chips.
     
    He says police say there is no foul play.
     
    The investigation has been turned over to the BC Coroners Service and WorkSafe B.C.
