Police say a woman is in hospital after being stabbed in Abbotsford.
Police say officers responded to reports of suspicious activity in an area near Nadeau Park yesterday afternoon and found a 46-year-old woman suffering from stab wounds.
The victim has been taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Abbotsford Police's Major Crime Unit is investigating and says early indications suggest the attack was targeted.
A 40-suite apartment building in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood has been destroyed by fire. Flames broke out last night and tore through the older three-storey structure, collapsing the roof.
