A man in his 50s is facing charges after a shooting in East Vancouver.
City police say it happened in the area of Vernon Drive and East 2nd Avenue just after 7 p.m on Wednesday.
They say a 28-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a gunshot wound but she's expected to survive.
The suspect fled the scene but was arrested a few hours later near the park at Trout Lake.
