A woman has died and three people were seriously hurt after a crash near Cranbrook.

Police say they are still trying to figure out what happened when a black Cadillac Escalade collided with a red Honda C-R-V on Boxing Day on Highway 3-95 near Stropky Road.

A 64-year-old woman from Grand Fork, who was the lone passenger in the Honda C-R-V, died, while the driver, along with two passengers in the Cadillac Escalade, were seriously hurt.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward and say they are especially interested in any dash camera video.
