Woman dies in crash next to Zoo: Langley RCMP

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 07 Dec, 2023 10:59 AM
  • Woman dies in crash next to Zoo: Langley RCMP

Mounties in Langley are asking for the public’s help with dashcam footage after a woman died after a crash next to the Greater Vancouver Zoo.

R-C-M-P say the initial investigation suggests a driver of a pickup truck stopped in the northbound lane of a street, waiting to turn left.

Police say a Ford Taurus that was also northbound didn’t respond to the stopped pickup truck in time and swerved into the southbound lane and into the path of an oncoming five-ton truck.

Police say the driver of the Taurus died at the scene and they are asking anyone who has the dash cam footage to contact them.
