Woman Dies In Crash Near Williams Lake, B.C., Four Others Badly Injured

    WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. - RCMP in central British Columbia say they suspect alcohol played a part in a deadly crash just west of Williams Lake.

     

    A statement from the Williams Lake detachment says one woman died when a pickup truck veered off Highway 20 early Saturday.

     

    The vehicle rolled onto its roof and the woman was killed at the scene.

     

    RCMP say four other people suffered significant injuries.

     

    They were taken to hospital in conditions ranging from serious to critical.

     

    An investigation continues and police have not said if the driver is among those who survived. (CFJC)
