Woman arrested after 34-year-old man stabbed to death in Vancouver

Police in Vancouver say they're investigating a homicide after a man was stabbed at a residential building in the city's Eastside.

A statement from investigators says officers responded shortly after midnight Thursday.

They say 34-year-old Brian Clayton died before being taken to hospital.

Police say a 27-year-old woman was arrested and is in custody but they did not release information about any charges she may be facing.

The statement says police believe the suspect and victim knew each other.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact the homicide unit.

Chase R-C-M-P say officers responded to the crash at 11:45 P-M and found one of the semis travelling east had failed to make a right turn, resulting in the truck flipping onto its side in the oncoming lane.

Police in Surrey are asking for anyone with dash-camera footage to come forward after a crash that killed two people in the Cloverdale neighbourhood. Surrey R-C-M-P say officers responded to the crash at around 4:40 p-m yesterday, after a Dodge Ram pickup heading east on Highway 10 crashed into a westbound Acura sedan attempting to make a left turn onto 184th Street.
