Police in Surrey are asking for witnesses in a case last month where an officer shot and seriously injured a fleeing suspect.
Surrey Mounties say two Surrey Police Service officers were patrolling on foot on March 17th when they got a call about a man with a gun.
The officers found the male suspect, who ran when approached, and police say one officer fired a gun and hit the man who suffered serious injuries.
B-C's Independent Investigations Office is looking into the shooting, and police say they need the witness who reported the situation to officers at the scene.
