Winnipeg Police Say They've Gotten Multiple Reports Of Sightings Of Missing Woman

The Canadian Press, 09 Sep, 2016 01:38 PM
  • Winnipeg Police Say They've Gotten Multiple Reports Of Sightings Of Missing Woman
Winnipeg police have received several reports of possible sightings of missing 21-year-old Christine Wood.

Wood hasn’t been seen since Aug. 19.

She was in Winnipeg with her parents from Oxford House First Nation to accompany a family member to a medical appointment.

She ever came back to her downtown hotel room after going out that evening.

Police have gotten reports that she was seen in Osborne Village, near Portage Place Shopping Centre, and in St. James east of Polo Park.

Her parents made an emotional public plea earlier this week for help to find their daughter.

Christine is described as five feet, six inches tall with an average build and shoulder-length, dark-brown hair.

She was last seen wearing a green top with a red striped Adidas jacket over top, denim shorts and carrying a white purse.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
