West Vancouver Police Seek Help After Man Apparently Forced Into SUV

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 22 Feb, 2015 11:54 PM
VANCOUVER — West Vancouver Police are asking for the public's help after a man was apparently forced into an SUV on Saturday afternoon.

Police received reports at around 3:30 p.m. of two men appearing to force a young man into a vehicle in the 100-block of Bonnymuir Drive.

Police say the older-looking large white SUV drove away quickly, before a license plate could be obtained.

Officers responded immediately but the vehicle was not found, and information about the incident was forwarded to police agencies across the Lower Mainland.

West Vancouver Police are asking anyone with information to contact them, as they haven't received any reports expressing concern for anyone's well-being.

Police say officers have considered that the incident may have been a prank, but it's being fully investigated as a legitimate occurrence until proved otherwise.
