We Miss You: Memorial Tables At Calgary Schools For Bobsled Run Victims

Darpan News Desk IANS, 08 Feb, 2016 12:41 PM
CALGARY — Grief counsellors are at two Calgary schools to deal with the fallout from the deaths of two popular students who snuck onto a bobsled run early Saturday morning.

Twins Jordan and Evan Caldwell died when the toboggan they were riding down the track hit a gate.

Six other male teens who were with the pair were injured.

Joe Frank, superintendent of Westmount Charter School where Jordan attended classes, says students need to grieve and process what has happened.

The school has memorial tables set up so classmates can express themselves and leave notes of condolences, which will eventually be given to the family of the 17-year-old boys.

Frank says the students will discuss what happened and perhaps learn some lessons about the possible consequences of their actions.
