No confidence motion may trigger a Federal election in Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Tuesday that he had asked to have Parliament prorogued until Sept. 23 so the Liberal government can return that day with a speech from the throne that will outline its plans for the COVID-19 pandemic recovery.
Staff and students at middle and secondary schools in British Columbia will be required to wear masks on buses and in common areas when classes resume.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man. Thivahar Rajiv, 26, was last seen on Sunday, August 16, at 2:45 a.m, in the Ellesmere Road and Mornelle Court area.
