Nearly 80 people dead and 4,000 injured as a huge explosion near the centre of Beirut sent shock waves across the Lebanese capital on Tuesday, shattering windows and causing apartment balconies to collapse.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Ayodhya on Wednesday and marked the occasion of the inaugration of the controversial Ram Mandir by laying the foundation stone of the grand temple and performing bhoomi pujan ritual. The Ram Mandir is set to be the world's third largest temple.
