VPD seeks person of interest in Tatlow Park homicide

Vancouver police hope someone can help them identify a person of interest who might have important information about the murder of a park caretaker on the city's westside last year.
Police have released security video taken December 9th of a man walking on the south side of Point Grey Road bordering Tatlow Park, the day they believe Justis Daniel was murdered in the caretaker's residence in the park.
The 77-year-old's body was found the next day but no arrests have been made.
Constable Tania Visintin says detectives are making progress but would like to hear from anyone who recognizes the man shown in the newly released video.
Trucks and other vehicles began parking on the highway near Coutts on Jan. 29 in solidarity with similar protests in Ottawa and across the country over vaccine mandates for cross-border truck drivers and broader public health measures.
RCMP found the frozen bodies of the migrants in the snow on Jan. 19 just metres from the Canada-U.S. border near Emerson, Man. Police believe the four were part of a larger human-smuggling operation. A man on the U.S. side has been charged with human smuggling.
