Vancouver Police are investigating the shooting death of a man in the Strathcona area this morning.

A man in his 40s was shot inside the London Hotel, near East Georgia and Main streets, around 5 a.m. today.

Two suspects fled the scene and have not been located.

VPD investigators believe the incident was targeted.

This is Vancouver’s 11th homicide of 2021.

The victim’s name is not being released at this time pending next of kin notification.
