Virgin Mobile Launches Home Internet In Ontario Starting At $50 Per Month

The Canadian Press, 16 Aug, 2016 12:53 PM
TORONTO — Virgin Mobile Canada has introduced two new home Internet service plans for eligible Ontario residents.

Customers who fall within Virgin's coverage map in the province can sign up for a 300 GB plan for $50 per month or an unlimited plan for $65 per month.

The company says both plans have no activation or installation fees. Ontarians can check their eligibility through Virgin's website or at a Virgin Mobile store.

To enrol in a plan, customers need one of Virgin's modems, which the company says provides Wi-Fi with download speeds of up to 25 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 10 Mbps.

The company says the cost of the modem is included in the monthly charge.

Virgin Mobile Canada is owned by BCE's (TSX:BCE) Bell Canada.
