Police in Surrey say they are investigating after shots were fired into a vehicle by an unknown assailant over the weekend.
Surrey R-C-M-P say the shooting happened on the evening of August 17th, when a white S-U-V travelling south on 124 Street was allegedly followed by a suspect vehicle described as a silver Toyota Corolla.
Investigators are now speaking to potential witnesses and gathering video footage of the incident.
Officials with the City of Vancouver say eight people have been taken to hospital after a fire at an apartment building in the Kitsilano neighbourhood. A statement from the city says the fire began at about 2:30 a.m. Wednesday and firefighters arrived "immediately" to fight the flames and evacuate residents.

R-C-M-P say officers arrived at a playground in North Vancouver on July 27th at 6:30 p.m. when the victim was assaulted after trying to enter the playground to throw away his dog’s waste.
