Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 13 May, 2019 02:14 AM

PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. — RCMP in Prince George, B.C., say they've found the vehicle involved in an alleged hit and run that killed a man who was using a wheelchair and seriously injured a cyclist.

Mounties say in a news release that a forensic and mechanical examination will be conducted on the vehicle, which was seized after officers issued a public appeal and received a tip within hours.

No one has been arrested or charged.

The RCMP said in a news release on Saturday that an officer on patrol came across what appeared to be a collision scene just after midnight that morning.

The officer found two injured men and a "severely damaged" electric-powered wheelchair and bicycle, according to police.

The 48-year-old man died of his injuries in hospital, while the 56-year-old cyclist is expected to survive.
