Vandals Even Dumped Paint In Fridge Of New North Vancouver Home: Police

Darpan News Desk The Canadian Press, 18 Aug, 2016 01:12 PM
VANCOUVER — Police in North Vancouver say vandals dumped over 15 pails of paint on appliances, countertops and the floor of a newly constructed house, causing $80,000 in damage.

RCMP Cpl. Richard De Jong says the culprits even poured paint into a new fridge and onto carpets, and that almost every room in the home was wrecked.

He says a contractor discovered the mess when he arrived on Tuesday, just two weeks before the house was to be put on the market.

De Jong is asking for the public's help in identifying whoever is responsible and says people who participate in such exploits tend to brag.

Police are talking to neighbours and inquiring about any video surveillance in the quiet neighbourhood.
