Vancouver Teen JEEVAN JOHAL SAEPAN Accused Of Shooting At Vehicle While Driving Faces Six Charges: Police

    COQUITLAM, B.C. — An 18-year-old Vancouver man is facing six charges after a vehicle was stolen in Surrey and used in a hit-and-run involving police in Burnaby.


    RCMP Cpl. Michael McLaughlin says Jeevan Johal Saepan is also accused of shooting at another vehicle in Coquitlam.


    The charges range from robbery using a restricted or prohibited firearm, dangerous operation of a vehicle and failure to stop at a collision.


    McLaughlin says the offences were committed on Dec. 11 and Saepan has been released on a number of conditions.


    McLaughlin says that while no one was hurt, things could have turned out much worse.


    Saepan's next court appearance is scheduled for March 13.
